Liz Guardado

Vice President and Fundraising Officer

Born and raised in Santa Clarita. She is the daughter of Mexican immigrants, who migrated to Santa Clarita in the 1970’s for the agricultural opportunities that existed within The Newhall Land and Farming Company. Before devoting herself to raising her children, she spent 12 years working for Chase Bank. While at Chase, her duties included managing branch operations, overseeing promotional campaigns, marketing events, financial budgets, performing audits, enforcing, and overseeing federal/state banking regulations.

Liz is currently a stay-at-home mom of 3 boys. Her oldest, adopted son Omar, served in the US Navy. Her youngest boys Lucca and Lincoln attend Meadows. She enjoys and spends much of her free time volunteering. Before joining Foundation’s Board, she helped modernize The Foundation by creating an operating platform via Google Workspace. This is Liz’s 3rd year as a Foundation Board Member. Additionally, she has been a room-parent coordinator for our Meadows PTSA. She has served on Meadows Site Council, NSD’s Safety Committee, and NSD’s 2020/2021 School Reopening Task Force. Jasleene luna

Secretary

Jasleene Luna’s first introduction to the Meadows community was in 2019 when her eldest son entered Kindergarten. Like many others, the Santa Clarita schools drove Jasleene and her family to the SCV. Over the past few years, Jasleene participated in Meadows events, as much as a fully employed mother of two young boys would allow. This participation mainly surfaced in the form of fundraising, which has always been an activity for which she is passionate.

Jasleene has been in Banking nearly her entire career, which began shortly after high school, spanned through her attendance at CSUN, and continues through present day. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Business Management and practices her knowledge gained daily. In her current role at First Republic Bank, she trains a department of nearly 270 staff on Know-Your-Customer procedures and regulations. Her responsibilities also include managing BSA/AML reporting for Business Banking, which primarily centers around Know-Your-Customer practices. She is passionate about people and truly enjoys her colleagues.

Jasleene’s combined passion for children, fundraising, and people, has inspired her to join Meadows Foundation, where she hopes to propel Meadows’ technology, enrichment, assemblies, and other needs in an effort to encourage student engagement.
